Is is the weekend yet? I just want to danceeeeee
“3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films…= a trip of a lifetime.”
This is such a cool video! Makes me crave a good frolic around the world! Let the planning begin! =)
I was only able to attend a day and a half of the XPN XPoNential Festival this past weekend but the music I was able to see was great! Bands to look up: Other Lives and Carbon Leaf. I had never heard either band before this weekend and I can’t wait for their albums/discography to finish downloading!

Other great acts include Ra Ra Riot, Matt Duke, Ben Folds and of course Jukebox the Ghost. Jukebox the Ghost totally rocked out there set and got everyone up and dancing. This was my first time seeing them live and I was very impressed with their stage presence and overall ability to get everyone grooving to their catchy songs. They are planning to record a new record over the next couple months (yay!) can’t wait to see what their next record is like!

Even though I didn’t get to experience the whole weekend of music Sunday was a great day! More concerts coming up soon! #cantwait

I will officially begin my first post-graduate career job as of Monday July 25th - exactly 12 days from now! I’m also itching for a crazy adventure! Since I don’t have the money or the time to leave the country for an adventure I have decided to cross something else off my bucket list…SKYDIVING! It just needs to happen in the next 12 days or I will be very disappointed with my adventuring skills. Wish me luck!

my beautiful twin Elizabeth skydiving <3 miss her and can’t wait to experience this myself!
❤ ❤

Last night I attended the Omar Souleyman show at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia! I caught part of Omar’s set at Bonnaroo and fell in love with his crazy Syrian beats aka “high-octane Syrian dabke.” Obviously when I found out he was coming to Philly I jumped at the opportunity to see him again.

Even though Omar started nearly an hour late the show was awesome! I had a blast dancing the night away to his sick beats at the decently packed Johnny Brenda’s. I probably couldn’t repeat any of the lyrics from last night’s show seeing as he wasn’t singing in English, but I enjoyed listening to the Syrian poetry nonetheless. His keyboardist was dropping mad crazy beats the whole show and kept everyone moving the entire show. I took a couple videos from last night…Enjoy! =)

I neeeeeeeeed to go to the Philippines ASAP! Looks gorgeous!
